About Us
Meet Dr. Lisa McCoog
Dr. Lisa McCoog has been working in the medical field since 2009 and has worked at pain management clinics in PA and NJ, prior to opening her first acupuncture practice in 2015.
In 2023, she opened a new clinic for acupuncture in Jupiter, Florida. With first-hand experience in Eastern and Western Medicine, she works comfortably with practitioners of all disciplines to help her patients optimize their care to maximize the best possible outcomes.
A Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM). Dr. McCoog is board-certified and is a nationally certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (Dipl. O.M.).
Currently licensed to practice in the States of Pennsylvania and Florida, Dr. McCoog practices Traditional Chinese Medicine, combined with Orthopedic Acupuncture, a form of acupuncture that focuses on the musculoskeletal system in depth to treat pain, heal injuries, and restore normal function to the body.
When not working, Dr. McCoog enjoys all things outdoors, especially SCUBA diving with her husband, traveling, hiking, and being out on the water.

Denise
Office ManagerDenise is a native Floridian with a lifelong connection to the ocean and the outdoors. She earned her degree in Environmental Science and Ecology and has built a diverse professional background with more than 15 years of office administration and operations experience.
An avid scuba diver and certified Dive Master, Denise is passionate about marine life, conservation, and spending time outside. Her love for the ocean and nature has shaped both her personal interests and her grounded, people-focused approach to life and work.
As the new Office Manager at Lighthouse Acupuncture, Denise brings a strong combination of organization, professionalism, and warmth to the practice. Her experience managing office operations, coordinating schedules, and supporting teams across a variety of industries has made her highly adaptable and detail-oriented. Known for her approachable personality and calm presence, Denise enjoys creating welcoming environments where people feel supported, valued, and cared for.
Zahria
Patient CareHi, I’m Zahria! I’m a Patient Care Technician at Lighthouse Acupuncture and Wellness Center,and I love being part of a team that helps people feel their best. Though I’m still new to the field, I’m passionate about learning and growing every day. I take pride in making sure each patient feels comfortable, cared for, and supported during their visit.
I’m from Stuart, Florida, and outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family at the beach, creating art, gardening, and hanging out with my cat. I’ve always believed that caring for others starts with staying grounded and doing the things that make you happy! That's something I try to bring into my work every day.

We have a different perspective: your care is not separate but integrated with your Western care.
